37 inch inseam — colorful skinny jeans

166017_detailOne of the easiest and cheapest ways to improve your looks is to have basics with really great details. That’s why I’m really salivating over these 37 inch inseam jeans with a braided belt. The fit looks pretty decent as well, probably will look best if the thighs are pretty tight-fitted. Anyway, check this detail shot out! Drool! Even with a basic, solid-color T, this would make a really nice summer look. It’s a little hippy, but in a subtle way (as opposed to, like, a flower patch on the knee).

Alloy.com is selling these for about $40. Anybody know if Alloy’s sizing runs small, large or true? I haven’t ordered in a while! Click the pants below to go right to the page.

They run like junior sizes. Im 6′2 170 lbs and wear a size 11 in most pants and a L in the shirts. My sis who is same height about 190 wears 13-15 in the pants

Alloy sells many brands, not just their own. I have ordered several Truck Jeans from Alloy and they run big. Other brands they sell run small. So it’s hit or miss with me. You just have to try it.

Alloy is the worst place to order something from. I have been ordering jeans from them since I was young and most of the time my order is delayed or I get the wrong item!! Once I sent back some jeans that I order the wrong size for. I order a 9 and need a 7. In the end they sent me a 1. Recently I did two day shipping and they notified me 4 days later that I put in the wrong expiration day for my credit card. Alloy also takes a really long time to send your clothes, and they will send the items in your order one at a time.

Gap.com online has extra tall jeans in 8 styles….all of which have Lycra or Elastane in them! Last year, I think only a couple of them had stretchy fabric. My daughters think I am silly about the stretchy issue, but I PROMISE many, many back problems are caused by pants with no give to them! The extra tall jeans are available only online. I have four daughters, two of which have come to their full heights now….6′4 and 6′3…with very different body types and they look better in different styles. They both have to roll up these jeants. I keep telling them we need to have them taken up, but they are so excited to be able to roll up jeans, they ignore me. The fits of the individual jeans vary a lot and I recommend going into a gap store with a list of the styles of the extra tall jeans and trying them on in their shorter versions. If you don’t live near a Gap Store or outlet, consider buying one of each and returning the styles you don’t love. The sizes go from 2-16 and the cost goes from $59.50-$69.50. When my 6′3″ daughter was 16, we were broke so she only had one pair of these pants. They wore out after daily use for 18 months, which seems pretty sturdy to me! Free shipping in the US and international shipping is available.
